Some Disturbed stuff is grand. The Indestructable album is decent enough to listen to in the gym or out running but it's hardly going to reinvent mainstream metal. I hadn't heard about the singer signing bombs until now. Silly move but most people won't be aware or give a fuck.

Megadeth... oh dear, where to start... I fucking used to love this band. I still rate their early releases as some of metals best but after 30 years of utter shite from them, I wouldn't cross the road to see them now.

Main issue for me though is that since dynamic pricing became the norm, I'm not willing to fork out what these bands are asking for. The mind boggles how so many bands struggled to fill small venues when ticket prices were way lower and bands were in top form and now there's a slew of old fuckers selling out arenas peddling their peak material to people who weren't even born by the time they turned to shit. It's not about the music as much as the event these days.

I saw Megadeth last Summer and thought they were pretty good. Better than the last show in Dublin. They added Washington is Next onto the setlist after I saw them would've liked to hear that.

Would go see Megadeth again if they came on another package tour like last time.

The armchair activist internet age logic is mind-blowing. I don't know how many "Fuck Disturbed, there's no way I'd give Draiman my time or money, I'm going for Megadeth then leaving" type comments I read.
