Ah no, River Runs Red and Ugly are stone cold classics.

RRR is the only one I've heard beyond the odd track here and there. Musically it's alright but yer man's vocals are atrocious. Biohazard are a novelty act for me, I just find them amusing.

River Runs Red is a classic.
Live he/she can be hit and miss with the vocals but still worth it.
Biohazard seem to be on fire now.

Same weekend as Pantera.
Dublin will be Mongo central.

*your woman's voice

The vocals, whatever. He was Keith Caputo at the time, so I'll stand by it. Either way, crap vocals on that album IMO.

Wasn't Evan a pornstar for a while too, bless him

Ah I'm only coddin ya!
I can see why the cials would be a turn off but it fits the music perfect.
Like a more whingy Pete Steele. It's got that Brooklyn sound from the last 80s / early 90s

The vocals were what made them stand out, This Time , River Runs Red, Through And Through, all classics.

I guess I wasn't too far off a while back when saying Biohazard would be great support for Pantera. Them playing a headline show the next day is 100 times better.

Never listed to Life of Agony but have seen the name around for years. I just checked them out and they sound awful. I am guessing they are one of those bands you'd have to have been into as a teenager.

That's probably the case, but their only actually heavy album is River Runs Red. I like Ugly a lot as well and some of Soul Searching Sun but not a thing other than that. Which one did you try?

Quote from: Circlepit on November 13, 2024, 09:17:24 AMPantera may have to skipped now, 2 bands like that in the academy

Pantera can pretty much fuck off now for me with their mad pricing

Biohazard are absolute muck lads. I remember drawing their symbol on my canvass school bag as a young lad before I ever heard a note of their music. I just reckoned it looked cool and they got a mention on the liner notes of Chaos Ad (so did Dog Eat Dog btw, ahem...) so that was good enough for me at the time. I then actually heard them and even at a time when I wasn't particularly discriminating about what I listened to, realized they were in fact total balls. That said, punishment is one of the greatest intros ever, until of course yer man's vocals kick in and things get seriously shit.

Back then myself and the lads used to have a good laugh at Evan's vocals as they are something of an acquired taste, shall we say  I can listen to State of the World Address these days with nothing but fondness and even enjoy his funny vocals. By the way, the production on that album must be one of the best out of the 90s mainstream bands. Up there with Type O.

Yep, solid production no doubt about it. Much of the Roadrunner roster was the same back then. I can still appreciate the production on, for example, Burn My Eyes, even if MH absolutely suck these days. Same for Demanufacture, Chaos AD etc, even if those bands have completely shat over whatever legacy they once had
