Geting harder to get to any Siege these last few years.
Fingers crossed I can spin up for this one.
Even if only for a few hours, it's still worth it.

I'm excited to see Acid Throne I've been listening to a lot of their stuff lately :]

 :sniffles:
Turntables go eeeeeera era era

There is a Siege of Limerick playlist on Spotify

I am really digging the track from Naut. Looking forward to checking them out, as well as Five Will Die & Vircolac  :abbath:

Is it usually a day or two beforehand that they publish stage times? Just wondering about planning a possible trip

They'd likely be up mid-late week next week yup.

What time are you thinking of heading up, Brian?

Surely will see a few of ye today at this.  Looking forward to it now

What a great day!,some craic.Tbh I was only there really to see Drowned who didn't disappoint; set seemed very short though.

The bouncer who was standing in front of the stage;wearing a Georgia state t shirt, what's the buzz with him?.Seems a right power hungry aggressive prick!.He was a bit ott when dealing with people up the front!

My first Siege and thought the setup was really cool. Could even sit down and watch the football for a bit.

Yeah plenty of tv screens around to watch the match,a great bonus!

That bouncer is the only negative about Dolans.Power tripping bullying shite from him the whole time.Got asked to leave for "enjoying yourself a bit much"at Xentrix.Bollix goes out of his way to be a prick.Unacceptable for metal shows

He's a big intimidating lump, like there's literally zero trouble at any metal shows in Dolans I've been to.Why is he positioned there right at the very front?,like when the warehouse is pretty packed of course people are going to bump into him.Hes shoving people out if the way, threatening them etc, no need for it.

Am there 8-12 gigs a year and it's disgraceful the carry on of him.As I said he's the only negative about the best place in the country for metal

Is that the fat bloke with the grey hair? I saw him last night moving people away from the front of the stage before bands would start playing which I have never seen at any other show. Seemed like a prick. I have been to maybe 8 - 10 shows in Dolans and that was the first time I saw him last night. The bouncer I usually see is a foreign lad who's Polish or Russian or something that always came across as nice would say hello etc. when you walk in.

I enjoyed Drowned but still haven't warmed up to the new album. It's exactly what you would expect from them and is almost like a bside version of Idola Specus. The songs on the new album don't grip me the way Idola Specus did, I remember being blown away by some of the stuff on that when it first came out. It was sad to see G.ST raise his hand when he walked out just before they started to play and he got no reaction from the crowd. At least they got cheers in between songs.
