There's a few lads in Cork that fix amps, not sure if Steve Nixon  fixes amps as well as guitars.I know a guy in work that does fix amps outside of work who is good.I can ask him for you,not sure how busy he is but can let you know monday if your still stuck.

Cheers, man! that would be great if you could find out. I found some lads info from Reddit (apparantly one of the best amp repairers in the country), based in Fermoy and emailed him. The post was about 4 years old though and he never got back to my email, so he's probably no longer in business.

OK,I dropped him a mail there.

Are you living in the City ? Did you See Flossy's post about a guy doing repairs in Carrigaline ?

Nixon doesn't do amps, but his buddy Dave (carrigaline) does so he can link you. There's a guy in Glanmire too I think though....

Cheers for the reply. Got a surname for Dave? I'll see if I can get hold of contact info for him.

Sound for that. I'm based in Midleton, but can drop the amp in anywhere.

I don't have Dave's surname, but I have a landline for him
Pm me and I'll get it to ya...

I know Mick o Sull knows another fixer guy too, I've asked him for name/num for ya

Picked up a Sennheiser E 906 off Thomann since it was half price. Looking forward to trying it out on some recording.

Slowly starting to rebuild the pedal set up after selling what I had off cheap a few months ago in a fit of quitting. Picked up a  Cadavernous Reverb and Electroman Delay  used for just under €120 each there on Reverb.com, pretty chuffed! It'll be self oscillation madness all the way...

Although it might be fun, I think starting from scratch again would do my head in.
