I don't know what it is that appeals to me, becuase they were clearly attempting to go heavier on certain songs. but also trying appeal to fans of the grunge/alternative thing on a lot of that stuff, which would normally make me want to sever my own head,  but for whatever reason I'm just a fan of the album, always have been. I realize I'm probably in the minority. Even among my friends who were always big Skid Row fans, I reckon I'm the only one who has listened to that album past 1995.

I will say that the songs sounded better live though.

I have to say fair fucks to them for not entertaining the thought of taking Bach back into the fold, they don't need the money so why put yourself through that shite? Bach was some fucking singer in his prime years but an annoying cunt..

Subhuman Race was a car crash of an album, with a car crash going on behind the scenes, only song I ever liked from it was Frozen..

The footage of Lizzy Hale singing with Skid Row is savage. She makes those songs sound like they have grit and pure rock fury.
If you watch them beside footage of Bach singing the likes of 18 and life there is no comparison. Age gap and life of rocking' and rollin' blah blah aside she sounds brilliant.
Much better than the stuff her own band puts out.

Has Sebastian Bach's head exploded yet?

No but he has said he no longer follows her on social media.
That'll teach her!

The Hale thing is a complete joke. Like having an x-factor singer do the job.

A cooked Bach is better than anything really.

You realise most of you have been saying each successive singer is doing a great job and it "actually sounds great"

They can't hold onto a singer for two minutes. I think the band are the problem.

Solid logic there, to be fair!

Hale is great singer, though.
But it would be something to see Bach back in the picture.

Yes must clarify, Hale is indeed a great singer but just think there's something off about this.

I've never said anything a true other singers. She can sing those songs well. There is no denying that. For Bach to do do those songs well they would need to down tune loads.
I'd go see them in a flash with him on vocals but for now they sound great.

Quotebut for now they sound great

And it's because the band have adopted this attitude that they continue to play bowling alleys and toilets.

There's a reason that Bach got fucked out in the first place and everytime they make some kind of attempt on a potential reunion it all falls apart so that tells its own story. They don't need the money apparently because they we astute with it in their heyday. As for the revolving door or singers who knows, they all probably lived in the shadow of Bach, who there's know doubting he had some fucking voice in the day and looked the part. Yes there would be a potential payday if Bach rejoined, but it's like getting back with an ex gf, all the old shite will eventually bubble up again...

Others have done it. Maiden and Bruce for example. And look at the amount of shit that was slung in both directions in that case.

Arguably the singer/frontman is the most important role in a band. It's not just about the voice it's the charisma and the personality that goes with it. There's also a danger element with Bach in that you don't know what the fuck is going to happen night to night - you've only really Axl and Bach in that old school category now.

Priest is probably a better example, Ripper was technically a younger singer with a voice in better shape but Halford is the man and Ripper has zero stage presence.

People just want to see Bach with them in any shape or form. You're lying to yourself if you reckon anyone on that list is a truly viable option. They should put the shit aside and just get on with it, everyone else is able to.

They should cop the fuck on, give the fans what they want and get Zakk Wylde in.

Didn't Bruce and Halford initially leave those bands to pursue other musical and personal pursuits, and it was their own choosing, while Bach was fucked out of the band by the band, there's a difference surely?

When Bruce went back to Maiden he could still do the job at a high level as could Halford with Priest.
Bach on the other hand sounds like a cat with nasal issues unfortunately.
