Might as well get this thread started. What's everybody reading? Still reading the transformer idw stuff which I hear is coming to an end. Best end on a high I guess.

Found this site which has tonnes of comics online to read. Caught up with walking dead this way https://readcomiconline.to

There's an english translation of Junji Ito's Frankenstein out now that I'm mad to get.  Few extra stories in the back so similar to the other collections I'm guessing, Shiver and Fragments of Horror.  I've read it before online but like to collect the physical copies of his stuff because I love the art style of it.

So they've ended the Walking Dead at issue 193. Glad it's got a proper ending although for me it dropped badly a long time ago.

I gave up on it years ago, when the Whisperers started to make an appearance. It had just gotten boring TBH.

Was sent a link to all of 2000AD the other day, so I imagine that'll keep me occupied for the winter.

I've been reading a load of Judge Dredd and 2000AD over the last few years. I love how grungey, unique and distinct the stuff is. The writers and artists seemed to have complete carte blanche to be as creative as they wished.

I was following Saga for a long time then forgot all about it.

Anyone read Judgement on Gotham? Looks right up my street.

I also see that they're bringing out a series on The Boys, which I read a good bit of, but wasn't blown away by. Have to say, it defied belief why they haven't made a series out of Transmetropolitan..talk about predicting the future..as pertinent to the current state of play as 1984 or Watchmen.

Saga's one I was reading and also lost track of, due a revisist, methinks.

The Boys was fantastic but, given that the same people made Preacher, I'm not optimistic about the TV series.

Preacher a letdown alright. Hard to capture the genius of the comics

I've been reading the idw reboot of transformers and to be honest I m not thinking that much of it. Guess when you compare it to the amazing Lost Light/MTMTE title then it had No chance. Reckon they should have left it a while before restarting.

Reread the whole series of Locke and Key this week. Highly recommend.

Has anyone read The Incal by Jodorowsky/Moebius. 20 pages in and I'm entranced.

I found it a bit puerile in places, but a solidly entertaining read overall.

Sounds about right. Like blowing up reptiles in conquistador outfits with fireworks  Must pick up the Incal though, thanks for the reminder.

Garth Ennis' A Walk Through Hell has been highly recommended to me, anyone read it?

"Saga" is worth continuing to read but Staples/Vaughan are taking a break for a year or more before they finish it.

"The Incal" is something that I've never heard of before but I looked at the first few pages. It looks like Transmetropolitan (which I highly recommend) and Judge Dredd so that's definitely piqued my interest.

I read the first couple of collected editions of "Chew" and I really liked it but somehow never kept up with it - probably because the only place to get it was Amazon.

I haven't heard of "A Walk Through Hell" but I like Ennis' other work so I'll add that to my list. I haven't read "Crossed" either. Must check that out.

Ennis' run on Crossed was great but as soon as he left, the decline was swift. He came back for another run, that was pretty good.
