Just wondering if anyone knows of any Irish metal bands that play with a DJ? I'm a DJ and I'm interested in being in a band would be awesome to hear if it's been done before in the Irish metal scene? Thanks :] :abbath:
Turntables go eeeeeera era era

Primordial and Mourning Beloveth are the only two I can think of.

They never had a dj

Isn't there supposed to be a bit of a nu-metal revival going on these days? Could probably find a few people and put something together

Sure Alan Averill regularly gets booked for DJ sets, so the Primordial suggestion is technically correct?

Further to this, some of my old nu metal albums don't sound as bad as they used to all of a sudden

It's what got me into metal so I'll always have a soft spot for it. Those early Slipknot albums get regular spins, American Headcharge, Static X still hold up for me, Korn can sound a bit dated but a few gems scattered throughout

Old Slipknot still holds up these days, as do System of a Down. Snot's debut is also still an absolute banger, although probably not 'nu-metal'

That Snot album is terrible. I can't comment on Slipknot Slioknot i was never a fan. The first SOAD is indeed cool but not one I find myself reaching for.

Ah sure you can't win 'em all.

Not a NU METAL fan at all but, DO IT.
