Tis grim alright. Matches up with its soulless defunct name, probably should be Streaming festival this day and age!

They never pushed bands properly or catered much to European bands on a grand scale was always a big grasp for US radio rock, read somewhere the most requested band by the fans is Foo Fighters that's part of why they are where they are too.

The rock scene in the UK seems to be geared towards metalcore the last while, few goods ones of course but none gonna break a mould that I can see but most significantly a lot of dung that needs putting on at Download!

Obscene to be stacking this up in comparison to elsewhere on the continent, have ye seen the prices!?

No Antichrist Siege Machine.....!!!! or Nails!

Man I have zero interest in this. Pantera, first date in 20 years, could you take them to court for false advertising?

Biohazard, Fear Factory and Pantera would have been a great line up...... 30 years ago!

I'm sure it would be good craic!

I saw Pantera twice during the summer at indoor headline shows and I was blown away two of the best gigs I have ever attended. A lot of people that have seen them are surprised at how good they have been.

I wouldn't mind seeing Biohazard now that Evan is back. That show in Fibbers about 10 years ago was great.

The recent footage of Biohazard looks very encouraging. Really on top form.

Don't recall seeing Biohazard at that, Milton Keynes anyway. What a gig though!

Maybe I'm wrong about Biohazard.

Yeah I was there and don't remember Biohazard. Soulfly and Slayer were there.
Remember Pantera playing a bit of number of the beast.

Bad to worse, Busted and Wheatus added there. Busted, a frickin boy band.

I thought you were taking the piss...then checked the offical website and you werent.
oh dear

Yeah, I mean they've had some variable acts over the years that lie outside the genre but some of the names on that list totally change the scope of the festival and not in a good way.

Good God this is shocking stuff.

Busted, Wheatus, Escape the fate, fall out boy, sum 41, with this line up I might be able to convince my wife to get tickets for 2025 before the line up is announced  :abbath:

That Saturday mainstage is atrocious.

Fallout Boy, Babymetal etc. Amazing to see Pantera are headlining a smaller stage on the same day.

I think we will probably see more of this in future as Reading and Leeds is no longer an alternative rock festival. I think headliners like Muse, Foo Fighters, Green Day and more stuff like Pendulum, Electric Callboy and Baby Metal will become the norm.
