Just back from the cinema after watching Mortal Kombat II. Checked my brain at the door and really enjoyed it.

Some amazing fight scenes, and if you enjoyed the games there's great fan service.

As an aside, I haven't been at the cinema much over the years and subsequently all my film watching has been at home on an OLED screen. It really struck me this evening how low contrast and washed out the cinema was in comparison.
