one of my fave by them from 88

I can't see that vid at work but I'll take a wild guess, Manhattan Skyline or Hunting High and Low? My favourite band before I made the step onto Bon Jovi and Europe, Jon vs Joey and all that bollox in Look-In. Still have my A-Ha tapes.

Yes we all know Depeche Mode like the back of our hands but it can't be underestimated how fucking great they actually are. Isn't that right McLove  :P

Nina Hagen - Naturträne

Lene Lovich - It's You, Only You (Mein Schmerz)

Deacon Blue- Dignity
Deep Down Six Feet, Is Where I Like To Eat

The March Violets - Turn to the Sky

Threw me a little at first as what I'd heard previously was firmly in the Sisters Of Mercy mould. This is great though

Top shelf musicians, always saw Level 42 as the pop version of King Crimson (80s lineups).

Absolutely ridiculous thumb on that lad.

So I've been listening to a compilation of 80s music today which has blown me away.

Can't pick a winner from it but it's 4 discs of absolute class without a single bad tune on it.

It's called Intrigue, it's curated by Steve Wilson and here's the wiki:

Look at that tracklist sweet Jesus the quality

Not a bother. It's absolutely brilliant anyway I'm almost finished my 2nd and a half run through and the quality is just top notch. The book package is unbelievably cool as well, really giving me those old throwing on an album and reading the inlay vibes that I haven't had in so long. Let me know how you get on with it

One of my all time favourite pop songs..actually one of my favourite songs across all genre's

Thread resurrection put this in my mind. Might have put it up already but sure
