I think Tebs might be retired ?

Obviously I can't speak for Luca but bear in mind it's a record shop rather than a venue, they're selective about who they put on there for that reason. I've seen heavier bands there but not metal per se.

McDowell's in Inchicore  (look em up on instagram I suppose) has a lounge that regularly hosts hc/punk/indie gigs,  I know Og wants heavier bands in there.

Being DIY spaces, neither venue would have much for the more ..err.."conservative" end of the metal scene though, if you get me.

Oh yeah - probably should have specified with Luca and some others - you would get away with "heavier" stuff but not necessarily all types of metal.  I thought Coroza were down to play Luca at one point so at least as heavy as that anyway there.

I had all these sitting in a spreadsheet but thought they would be useful here rather than reneged away to myself.

I'll remove tebs  but will look up McDowells too meself, cheers

Tebs (assuming you mean him in Galway) is still at it as West Coast Punx, or so I believe. Mainly punk/hardcore but they have the odd metal band on. Genuflection (his doom/crust band) are actually playing tonight in the Ol' 55.

Alternative Munster do shows in The Poor Relation in Cork, also.
