Ya it's a wizard that usually has low level magic ability due to being self-taught, as opposed to one who might have trained as an apprentice and belongs to some Order.

I'm liking them. The only other Dungeon Synth I've heard is one of Varg's prison albums years ago, which I've never felt too compelled to revisit... I've already listened to this one twice.
