Sin after Sin for me is no. 2 after Sad Wings , its great

Stained Class while excellent I'd put behind Killing Machine, Defenders and Screaming.

Yep, Sin After Sin is up there. Last Rose is indeed a bit naff but I still love it.

Yeah Sin After Sin is mostly bangers, bar Last Rose.

Plus, the version I have (the boxset of remasters from about 22 years ago) is home to their best cover, nemely "Race with the Devil" (mind blown that that song was written by Adrian Gurvitz of "Classic" fame).

Rotting Christ- Non Serviam.
Old Tower- Draconic Synthesis.
Sabbat/ Departure Chandelier- split porno. The Sabbat song is savage. Kind of strangely undynamic vocals from Gezol on this one, but the riffs are metal magic. Looking forward to the album.
Helheim- Jormundgand.
Gorilla Biscuits- Start Today.
Motörhead- Bastards.
Chris Cornell- Euphoria Morning.
Coheed and Cambria- Year of the Black Rainbow.

Order from Chaos - Stillbirth Machine

Nagaroth - Black Metal Ist Krieg
Altar - Youth Against Christ
Blaze Bayley - Circle of Stone
Saxon - Hell, Fire and Damnation
WASP - Headless Children

MOTLEY CRUE - Too Fast For Love (1981)

Pagan Altar - Judgement of the Dead
Magic Circle - Departed Souls

Love the woozy production of Judgement of the Dead. It's like listening to a sun-damaged Sabbath tape.

Jade - The Pacification of Death (first listen after seeing them last week: good gear, bit of a Bölzer influence in some of the vocals)
Mastodon - Hushed & Grim

Morbus Chron - Sweven
Ozzy - No Rest For The Wicked
Forbidden - Forbidden Evil
Kreator - Extreme Aggression

MOTLEY CRUE - Theatre Of Pain (1985)

Abigor - Verwustung

Ein - Lethargic Breakthrough

Smoulder - Dream Quest Ends
Moonlight Sorcery - Nightwind The Conqueror from the Stars
Friends of Hell - God Damned You To Hell.
Haunt - Dreamers (these guys really do write some great Heavy Metal).
