Good analysis of the latest Epstein dump here, well-sourced, etc. Specifically deals with Epstein's links to Bannon, 4chan, Peter Thiel, etc., etc.

Absolutely crazy shit. Where are all the lads who thought they were in an Orwellian nightmare because someone asked them to use a different pronoun, or some shit?

With any luck, finally reading Orwell!  :)

Was looking over a lot of this since last week.  Regularly used 4chan for a long long time (and still end up on it often for other bits) and was on /v/ a lot during the early days of all this, gamergate etc etc.  It is tough to explain the shift to anyone who either never used it regularly or came to the site later but that whole thing felt like an experiment in coordination and also created various schisms in the user base that drove anons to other boards and forums, where things ultimately escalated to what we see now.  And in retrospect you can pull posts and timelines and see a particular path of it all, but there's stuff here that is hard to explain, how it makes sense now how much external influence was being poured into that site.  It was always a shithole but my experience on there was a different one, soured by the amplification (but definitely not the arrival) of the extreme voices on there.

You could write for hours on the specifics of the ins and outs of it.  There's lots I have been thinking about with it all and I don't know where to begin.  Also I am not an authority on the state of the place by any means and I don't really want to drag myself into someone else's search engine scouring and screenshotting by posting here about the stuff I saw pan out on there.  I was driven the opposite direction entirely by the way everything panned out on that site during gamergate and the rise of /pol/, drifted off onto other boards and normal threads (there's tons on there if you know how to suffer/filter the dogshit and memeposts).

Not just Ring, it seems

QuoteLaw enforcement officials initially said they couldn't retrieve footage from Nancy Guthrie's doorbell camera because she didn't subscribe to a particular service.
She had a Google Nest doorbell – according to a clip now made public – which provides 30 days of video history with a subscription, but just three hours of footage without it.
The video, released by the FBI on Tuesday, shows a masked person tampering with the camera on the morning of her disappearance.
Authorities did not explicitly state how they eventually managed to get the video, but according to Google's privacy policy, footage from all its devices is sent back to the company. This means Google should be able to retrieve specific videos.
FBI director Kash Patel told Fox News this evening that by working with partners in the private sector, the FBI were able to lawfully "go into their systems and actually excavate material that people would think would normally be deleted and no-one would look for."

Aye, natch.

Deranged "he's the greatest president in the history of our nation!" Pam Bondi repeatedly accusing senators, posing her valid questions about the Epstein files, of having "Trump derangement syndrome" yesterday... lol. Plus her attempt, read out from a sheet of paper, to change the subject from child sex trafficking to the performance of the DOW Jones  absolute state of them

I watched that. Absolutely infuriating. I've never wanted to take a baseball bat to someone's face as bad as that cunt.
There will never be any consequences for any of these people.
