Always one  :abbath:

There was a lad dressed up as Dennis Taylor the other day. Gargools and all.

Outrageous stuff from Higgins tonight. Wow.

That last mini session is one of the best I've seen. Great stuff from both.

Yeah it was a bit special alright, I haven't seen Allen play as well as that before, I was thinking he had the look of a world champion then next thing he's gone.

Pure granite from Higgins. Great match.

As mentioned, that final session was one of the best I've ever seen. Allen looked a cut above, and yet Higgins still goes through because that's what he does. Hard not to root for him to win the whole thing after that. Has his work cut out for him with Wilson, but he came back strong in that first session there at the end.

Wilson hasn't as much bottle but we'll see. I actually enjoyed Binghams game.
I like how Trump plays, but I'll be hoping for number 8 for Ronnie.

Anyone but him for me, preferably someone new though I'd be happy enough for Higgins to win it again.

Trump will earn his pay with this lad eh, absolute slog of a match but fair play to Jones

I like an underdog but Jones seems odd to me, seems a bit hotheaded for some reason. Ali Carter vibe off him. Could be way off but don't enjoy watching him playing.

Agreed, I haven't taken to him much myself, just a pure base level instinct,

Well Ronnie's out. He wasn't playing his best at all. Bingham looks really good.
Would like him to win, not sure about the rest of em though but sometimes the best snooker comes out in the SFs.

My favourite to win lost in every single match in that round  I guess I'd probably root for Bingham from here. He looked like an amateur at parts near the start of that O'Sullivan match but clearly is excellent when he's playing well. Don't mind Wilson so much, though I'm struggling to get past that knacker hair dye job. He'll be off to Turkey with his winnings next to get his teeth done.

Great to see so many qualifiers in the semis, despite what Murphy asserted this afternoon it has happened before (1977 I think? Thorburn was one) so odds are it'll be a new name on the trophy. No harm at all.
