It looks shit, to be honest, but, then again, it's supposed to. The judicious editing has removed any context from the incident and that lingering, digitally-zoomed shot to close off with is a classic move. None of us have any fucking idea what instigated it other than, at some point, the white guy is coming off worse. But that's the point. Does why even matter? Not to the sham who posted it as he knows it'll rock his lowest-common-denominator audience to their socks and it'll be shared by all kinds of nasty dopes. Maybe the guy is a thug, maybe he was provoked, maybe he was attacked, it's impossible to tell but who gives a fuck when the point is to demonise based on skin colour, right? Fear sells. It's thoroughly depressing, the whole thing. You'd have hoped the Irish, given our long and illustrious history of emigration and the resulting well-publicised discrimination, would be able to smell manipulative xenophobic bullshit from a long way off but, sadly, some folks can't resist a bit of the oul rascism. The thugs attacking non-whites in gangs are clearly taking in the real motivation behind the video.

He'll be painted as the victim now for the most part, which could be fair but nobody forced him to plagiarise work or make up a load of pointless lies either. Some of it was pure Jay from the Inbetweeners stuff altogether.

It makes for a fairly cautionary tale anyway. Maybe hiring lads on merit has some merit to it after all

I saw mention of that sokal hoax thing but all I've read about any of it was the link I had there.

I suppose it shows when it comes to certain subjects the old paper doesn't refuse ink saying holds true.
