Spent a couple of days on the Spanish/Portuguese border. Asked some people about Portugal etc and did they interact much..blah blah blah. Nowadays you can stroll across but they were saying that 30 years sgo there was a wall and literally no interaction. Got me thinking about the EU and the amazing progress in Ireland, Spain, Portugal, Romania, Poland etc etc etc. The wall in Berlin. In mamy ways we are living in a golden age of peace. Ok, the US, Russia, China are different stories but Europe must be an example of how the world can move forward. The progress has been amazing and is a sign of how positive things can be.
