Haven't seen this mentioned anywhere yet and not even sure if it has been officially announced. The show in the Academy 2 years ago was brilliant. Tickets €33

Isn't it just the original guitarist at this point? I was hoping for like Henry Rollins on vocals or something.

If Rollins got back with Black Flag it would be worldwide news and they would be playing a much bigger venue. He doesn't get on with Greg and said years ago he will never perform live music with any band ever again.

The current vocalist Mike Vallely is great. They were great here in 2023. Just look up the reviews of the shows over the last few years online.

It is also being billed as "The first four years" but looking at recent sets on setlist.fm it looks like they do a few tracks from the Rollins era (over two sets?).

However according to wikipedia, Black Flag is now just Greg:
Quotevocalist Mike Vallely left the band, along with drummer Charles Wiley and bassist Matt Baxter
So who we will see onstage is a mystery

Just looked that up he apparently only left 2 or 3 weeks ago. I wonder now will the shows even go ahead.

Pitchfork do a deep dive review of a classic or landmark album every Sunday. They did "My War" yesterday.

These gigs are going ahead new vocalist announced last month Max Zanelly seems to be relatively unknown. At least the Dublin show will happen.

Here's their set from the other night in Sofia for an idea of what to expect

Late notice but I only just saw the stage times for tonight:
Doors - 19:00
Set 1 - 19:45
Set 2 - 20:45
Trying to get a bus now  ;D

Couldn't find stage times the day of. Seeing that it was Greg and a bunch of kids I didn't bother going. Anyone go? Was it any good?

It was grand, enjoyed the two sets, played the songs you'd expect/want, new vocalist is a woman, she did a great job to be fair but it felt more like a covers band than seeing Black Flag (and I've seen  Dead Kennedys recently ;D )

I'd say easily half the crowd missed the first set.

Had I have went I probably would have missed the first set as well. It wasn't advertised as them doing two sets. I wasn't bothered putting in the effort for as you said a cover band. When the show was announced it was suppose to have been Mike Vallely on vocals who would have been well worth making the effort for.
