Text box - can't see shite!

Is this just me? Whenever I make / reply to a post here the text entry box background is black and the text is dark grey making it pretty much impossible to see what I've typed until I preview / post? On mobile I've taken to writing stuff in a note app anhd copying across. I can't see any option to change the background, and it remains the same even with different themes. I'm guessing I'm missing something obvious....or am I?

Here's what I see....... There' s a line of text in there too!

......and if I change the font colour it just wraps colour [tags] around the text, but doesn't change the visible font.

Looks like you're using a different theme.

Go into your theme settings at the link below and switch to the theme called "potato" and you should get dark backgrounds with white text (it looks different in the preview pic).

I'm hoping to find some time in the near future to update the forum software and fix some theme issues.

Doesn't work - tried it again just now. Strangely I get a light beige background with Potato and black writing.......yet the text entry box remains exactly as before!

I've made a change to your account. Looks like you were using the light version of the theme. Any different now?

Ok, that works - black background but white text now so I can see what I'm typing! Mobile anyway. Thanks Ham! Don't recall seeing any options re light and dark themes TBH.
