Anyone heading to Graspop?

I see flights from Dublin - Brussels are around €60 from 19th-24th June

I haven't been keeping an eye on metal festivals for a long time now and i'm amazed to see King Diamond & Demons & Wizards doing the rounds!

EDIT: Shit, the attached poster is massive...sorry!

Have gone the last few years but we're hitting Metallica in Manchester the Tuesday before so won't make it this year. Lineup didn't do much for me anyway to be honest. But if you haven't been before and need any tips, just shout. Should be plenty on here that have made the trip over the years.

No need to apologize nice big poster though in fairness

May go been a bunch of times, flights are decent too into Eindhoven which is usually where we go into.

How many stages are there usually? I've found the last few times I've been to the bigger festivals half the bands I want to see usually end up clashing since there's so many on at the same time

5 stages
Main one which has 2 alternating stages which don't clash band will start 10 mins after one ends,Main 1&2.
A tent that acts like a mini arena that holds over 8000 known as Marquee.
A tiny outdoor stage called the Jupiler stage.
A smaller airport hangar type tent called the metal dome.

Theres also cover bands in a classic rock cafe tent.

Almost guaranteed to be some clashes each year but all stages are close enough that you can easily watch half of one and then catch the 2nd half of the other.

Sounds good, haven't been there since 2009 I think so might be worth another trip over. Lineup is definitely tempting

Few additions there today;

Gojira
Behemoth
Clutch
Deadland Ritual (Steve Stevens/Geezer Butler/Matt Sorum/Frankie Perez)
Architects
Beast in Black
Insomnium
Carpenter Brut
Kvelertak
Beartooth
Atreyu
While She Sleeps
Candle Box

Stage times are announced few cruel ones for me but always gonna happen

Testament/Candlemass
LOG/King Diamond/Demons and Wizards
Slash/Clutch/UFO
Rob Zombie/Uncle Acid
WT/STP

Still recovering, savage weekend had! May have to do it all again next year   :P

King Diamond what a legend,Gojira,STP,Slipknot best I've seen them in donkeys years,Refused,WT,Trivium many many good sets.
