Yeah in the past week I've actually been forcing myself to try and play for at least half an hour every night just to get the oul mojo working.

For me it's about trying new things, whether that's new ways of approaching genres or new ways to writing music entirely. There's been quite a few times where I've stumbled on an absolute creative roadblock and I've only really got past it after someone else brought their perspective to it.

I'm probably going to try and write a lot of songs with a 1 hour time limit on riff composition soon as an experiment, for example.
