I came away from this feeling a little disappointed and underwhelmed. The whole thing seemed hastily thrown together and unprepared. There was a lot of mistakes and trying to remember riffs which was funny at times but it stings to have paid £50 for what felt like a rehearsal, and that's without the £7 pints in Limelight. Playing the first 30 seconds of a song and then stopping and moving onto another song was annoying. I'd have preferred if one half was spoken word and the second half was a normal set instead of a mash of both.

The biggest rock bar in Stockholm, my favourite haunt, is 55kr (€5) for a pint bottle of Tuborg Gold, and it's only 37kr (€3.60)if you're in before 6pm, weekends included.

The only real rock bar here, Voodoo, charges around £6.50 a pint. There's still a few places you can find a sub-5 pint but they're increasingly rare. There's always Wetherspoons where you can get a £2.40 pint of ale if you don't mind the sticky carpets/tables/seats/glasses etc

Yeah, I noticed the price of pints being steep in Belfast for a good few years now, when I was up for gigs...
God bless the days of the €3.50 pints of Guinness or Smithwicks in The Snug on Stephen's Street Upper in Dublin...

Totally agree. There's no way I'd buy a ticket for a show like this again. Playing snippets of songs (and playing them badly to make matters worse), is a complete waste of time in my eyes.
