True. I'm not a fan of Opium at all.

Shite news worst venue in the city. The only upside is it won't be a sweat box now. The heat inside Whealns has been really bad for the last few shows I went to there.

Yeah I'm raging a bit as well, whelans is the better venue, glad for all involved but like...to me whelans is iconic and I always like going there
Play the Academy July 13th

Ooh... Didn't realise there is also a Belfast show. Anyone double dipping?

I see all the English dates have been rescheduled but the 2 Irish shows are still going ahead  8) . I would guess the band must be in Dublin by now and they will be at the Foggy Dew at that Sentinel metal market thing tomorrow before the show.

Dublin show sold out yesterday.

Looks like the Belfast show has now been cancelled as well. Doesn't effect me as I was only heading to Dublin. Probably a few on here that intended on heading to Belfast.

Pentagram were great. Did people not show up last night due to the confusion with the last minute cancellation of Belfast or what? 3/4's of the venue was packed then when you went down the back were the bar is their was loads of space this was suppose to have been sold out. I didn't see any merch stand either.

I see Belfast and the UK dates are being rescheduled I wonder will they play Dublin again as part of that given how well this show sold.

Didn't get a ticket as initially I thought I'd be away this weekend, then was seeing it was sold out, thn Scobes mentioned to me that it wasn't yesterday afternoon by which time I'd other plans. Fuck it anyway. How was the setlist?Seemed like they were leaning on newer stuff recently which wouldn't have done a huge amount for me.

didn't they sell merch in the Foggy that afternoon?

Was chatting to the guitar player for a bit outside the Foggy and he said that they tried to get the merch in on the sly but got caught by customs and were there for the whole day. The merch only got to the foggy at 7 or so and only had one style of t shirt with a couple other bits

They played maybe 5 or 6 from the latest album the rest was spread across Relentless and Show em. I didn't make it to the pre-show thing so not sure what went on with that. I wonder if Bobby showed up to the Foggy? Have seen people saying he was seen around Dublin in the few days before the gig.

It's mad to think that Bobby is only 4 years younger than Ozzy, was on crack for I don't know how many decades and he is still going strong yet Ozzy is fucked. I think Bobby outdid Ozzy when it came to drugs. He also clearly has no signs of stopping because from what I have read they were going to do the Belfast gig under the radar but the band decided against it at the last minute in case it effected them getting UK visas for future tours. Bobby is going the way of Wattie were both will most likely die either on stage or on tour. Which they both deserve a lot of respect for.
