Just finished my replay of the first game, still class. Will get into the second one before watching series 2 of the show.

Watched the new series of Black Mirror, it's grand, doesn't hold a candle to the first couple on Channel 4.

Black Sabbath - The Eternal Idol

Iommi is just credited as 'The Player' on the back, respect that.

Picked up Eternal Idol and Cross Purposes on LP myself, along with Red by King Crimson.

Watched the first two series of the White Lotus over the past week or two, watched the first ep of season 3 last night.

Still good but it lacks a comedic character like the manager in season 1.

Just had Rust in Peace on actually, managed to pick up that og mix on LP a few weeks back. Countdown and Youthanasia are both great too, I'd love to get them but Megadeth's back catalogue seems a bit of a shambles when it comes to keeping stuff available.

Followed it up with Beyond the Crimson Horizon by Solitude Aeternus  :abbath:.

He's making a new one without Roy Z, was reading the other day Roy Z has gone full religious nutter apparently, won't do the devil's music anymore!

Might not be the worst thing in the world, the last one had pretty poor production from what I heard.

He should get the lad from Eternal Champion to produce.

Reading this thread has me sticking on Seventh Son, jaysus that run of albums in the 80s really was class.

Which reminds me I need to keep a eye on Ticketmaster to see if any tickets for the gig in May pop up.

I can forgive it for local/upcoming bands or package tours with a great lineup, but the likes of Mgla for example wrapping up after 50 minutes on a headline tour is a bit cheeky.

I'm trying to go to see them in Istanbul in July, at a festival alongside Candlemass and Opeth, not bad  :abbath: .

I completely missed Michael Angelo Batio becoming the guitarist for Manowar.

Yeah I think that's what I'll do, then when I watch the show I can moan about all the things they changed .

Part 1 is some game though.

Watched Anora last night.

It's good, great acting to be fair, for some reason I thought it was going to be super dark but it's not really, there's a bit of comedy in there.

Got a PS5 last year after about a decade away from gaming, never got a Ps4 for whatever reason. Picked up The Last of Us Part 1 on sale the other day, probably one of the last games I played before packing it in last time, started it last night and it's still as good as it was back then, debating whether to play part 2 of the game before watching season 2 of the show or vice-versa.

Some serious albums with a blue tint tbf  :abbath:.

The jeans doing the heavy lifting in this Lizzy one but fuck it I'm including it. Blue Record by Baroness is both a class album and great artwork too.  Controversial, but Spiritual Healing might actually be my favourite Death album too, the perfect mix of the early classic DM sound with the slightest hint of the more proggy direction they'd go in with Human.
