I'm a fan of the show but that was total shit.

The show has been pretty hit and miss since Netflix took over.

When I was a kid I always gravitated towards blues influenced hard rock but recently I've been delving into the blues genre properly, it has a pretty huge history so it comes in many forms.

I've been listening to a lot of Howlin' Wolf recently, specifically the Moanin' at Midnight album, he has an amazing voice.

What blues do you guys listen to?

If I'm in the pub having one or two I'll drink Guinness, if it's at a proper night out though I'll drink a jameson ginger & lime (depending on the price).

At home I like changing it up but I buy Franziskaner a lot.

At the moment I'm drinking a Guinness Foreign Extra which is amazing.

Went to see Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse yesterday.

Was a bit hesitant before because it's a Sony movie but I have to say it is honestly brilliant. I wouldn't watch a lot of animated movies but they did a great job on this one. Arguably one of the best superhero movies ever made, probably the best Spiderman movie.

I've been fatigued on superhero movies for a while but this one definitely stands out.

Bauhaus - In The Flat Fields

Been getting into post-punk recently so only checking these guys out now. Great stuff so far, the track 'Double Dare' is almost like a Godflesh song.

Just caught up on the main event there.

Damn Ortega got stomped, tough bastard but there is a downside to having a great chin, taking that many shots isn't good for the brain.

Feel like Max should definitely move up to 55, that weight cut can't be healthy and I feel like even if he doesn't get an immediate title shot him getting in the Khabib/Ferguson/McGregor mix would make much bigger fights than anything left at 45.

I always associate this album with Yob's Clearing the Path..., they were released within week or two of each other so I was spinning them both constantly. Two modern day classics, that was a good time to be a doom fan.

Pretty slow year on metal and non metal stuff but Emma Ruth Rundle's album On Dark Horses is very good.

Wouldn't listen to a lot of stuff like this but I'd say any fans of Chelsea Wolfe might dig it.

Does anyone know if there's any brands that do a decent copy of a Yamaha SG2000 like this one, my dream guitar but only seeing €3000 prices online 😂.
