That's a very weak album though.

Holy Smoke is my favorite pre-Dianno Maiden track

I feckin love that whole album. It is slightly dodgy, but has a nice bargain bin Maiden feel to it.

Lars is surprisingly tight (compared to normal). They sound as good here as they ever have.

Metallica are at that point in their career where they can play umpteen setlist variations like say ,for example, Bruce Springsteen can. They obviously can't keep everyone happy. I saw them in Vancouver in 2017 and they played Whiplash, Roam and Fight Fire, three songs I'm sure lots of you would have loved to see in Slane but you guys got Ride and Creeping Death which I didn't. Their encore is always a fast thrash song followed by Nothing Else and Sandman. You got Spit Out The Bone as the fast song, I got Fight Fire, some gigs they'll play Battery. I saw they played Disposable Heroes at one gig recently. You win some you lose some. I will say one thing, the opening with Hardwired is very well done and when that riff kicks in it really hits ya.

Aaaaaah, I forgot that they didn't play Roam. I have like 600 streams of tracks from the new album, but fuck dat shit.

Disappointed with the setlist; there were some a month or two back that were considerably better. Lords of Summer instead of Spit Out The Bone would've been class. It's their best song in at least two decades.

I still loved the show.

Amount of spare tix for this is unreal. What's more laughable is clowns trying to sell them for 70-80 euro!

I only saw <100 on StubHub, 400 on Viagogo and <100 on gumtree.

Makes me think the 75,000 estimate is accurate.

Has anyone used the carpark before? We're driving up as it's an extra cuntish day getting the bus. For GnR we left Limerick at 9am and we didn't get back til 5am Sunday morning. Hoping to be well on the way back to the car during the encore.

Can you get that app to work?

I can't. It crashes instantly on my phone and on my tablet the payment won't go through. What eejit didn't create a website for it too?

The roads are closed until all pedestrians are off them, so leaving early might not do you any good.
