He was crystal clear here imo

"I don't even wait. And when you're a star, they let you do it. You can do anything. ... Grab 'em by the pussy. You can do anything."

My first Siege and thought the setup was really cool. Could even sit down and watch the football for a bit.

Quote from: Giggles on September 30, 2024, 07:33:33 PMMy current YouTube algorithm.

I watch a lot of guitar related stuff, and for a while my feed was full of good shit, like decent guitar theory lessons/exercises from reputable channels, interviews with amazing guitarists, songwriting stuff etc.

Now the algorithm is constantly pushing me content from these fucking nobodies, lads in their boxers/shorts or mopey looking emo girls with 1-2k followers and videos with less than 100 views, of some shite riff they just recorded with a horrible fucking tone. It's like a plague, suffocating all the good shit. Fuck off!!

I find telling it I'm not interested works well actually. Click the three dots beside video and click not interested. You can even tell it to not recommend the channel.

Quote from: KingHostile on August 16, 2024, 03:22:59 PM€230 for a standing ticket, its not even Pantera!!!!!!

Wow.... enough to keep Anselmo in coke for a few weeks anyway!

The price for this and AC/DC, is 100% madness! AC/DC has one original member / 2 long timers.
Pantera is a 2 originals 2 clowns! which weirdly = 4 clowns!

Phil's sober nowadays!

And I very much doubt that bands get a cut of dynamic pricing profit as Live Nation will have only agreed to their guaranteed fee.

I think I read the artists instruct on whether dynamic pricing is to be used for the event. Must try find it again.

Hmm fake news maybe!

Surprised they are referencing Korn given he was the singer in Kittie. I don't want to be overly harsh but he's insufferable.

I gave up after he talked about writing his lyrics on toilet paper because it's more ephemeral. Maybe that's what turns me off them so much- his terrible fucking view of the world that leaks out through his desperate lyrics. A non-poet. A fucking anti-poet. Pretentious doesn't even come close to it, Jesus. Is he physically incapable of giving a simple answer without trying to blow people away with his cheeky Irish charm and lyrical dexterity? Vomit on legs.

What's the Kittie link? I didn't make it to the Korn quote.

Edit. I'm going to eat my words here a bit because despite him coming off as a prize twit, and despite the band looking like something out of Metal Hammer circa 1998, that song Favourite is actually a fucking belter. Excuse me while I go fuck myself.

Starburster also great imo. New album could be an insufferable banger. Damn these kids.

Ha, saw his quotes.

Tbf it seems the weezer wannabes he dislikes. He's defo unknowingly tapped his foot to some weezer!

Never trust anyone who says they haven't  :abbath:

Yeah I popped along. Thoroughly enjoyed both bands. Weezer especially good.

Social media is one thing, actual media is quite another. When it was the Algerian lad it was apparently irresponsible to say where he came from. This chap however has his face instantly in the papers.

Can't think why
