Albums that missed ya.

Saint Vitus - Die Healing

Love the first with Reager, love Vitus but I'd take him over Wino allday. Die Healing is amazing. Locked but ye know what I'm on about.

Deicide - Legion was a other one. Probably the best Deicide.

Ticket for tonight. 65e.

Seems like their last one only came out last year. Couldn't really get into it. Either way, they're going again with an album out September 22nd.

Tune is cool enough despite the dynamic-less Corpsegrinder performance.

Philidelphia/Derry based DM. Obviously needs a share here given the title. Love it.

Eternal Hails didn't quite hit home after the spectacular feat that was Old Star but I'm due a return to it. This snippet sounds cool so I'll def give it a go as well.

Split is officially out on Friday on Invictus. Unfortunately the cd and vinyl are delayed so this will have to do until then.

Suffering Hour are starting their Euro tour today so check their FB for dates.

Wasn't mad on the debut but this new one seems to be fuckin demented. Brought Discordance Axis to mind. Def more grind than DM to these ears. Wild madness anyway.

Figured I'd lash up a catch all thread for Invictus as I wanted to post about two of the bands currently streaming new releases and clocked there's no IP thread.

First up, Invisible Oranges are streaming the new Tempter's Sacrament EP which is an old school DM ripper but not OS in the done to death spazzer way.

https://www.invisibleoranges.com/tempters-sacrament-ep/

Next up, Hideous Death. More old school death metal done right.

Edit: Both up on the IP bandcamp now:

There is absolutely no excusing that artwork but the tune is cool and will no doubt work better in the context of the album. In comparison to Qrixkuor and Antediluvian, it sounds pedestrian but my interest is piqued.

Some new techy death metal in the vein of the aforementioned bands. The bass playing is incredible hence the two obvious band comparisons. Pretty sure the drummer from Ascended Dead & Void Ceremony produced it.

Anyone listen to these boys? Was more familiar with the controversy surrounding them than the music but threw on Spectral Ecstasy yesterday and it hit the spot. A weird mix, in theory, to have harsher vocals on psyche but it works.

Full thing streaming. Only listened to the first track and as I said elsewhere I'm not as arsed with them since Swarth but this is definitely sounding good. Maybe writing them off is what I needed. Will see how it pans out.

Only messing. It's music. You cunts.

Sure why not start another thread? The last one was a complete success.
