I'm sure everyone saw this last week but I'm interested to see everyone's thoughts on it

For anyone unaware you can find more about it below:

https://metalinjection.net/news/dragged-into-sunlight-comments-on-kicking-meth-off-tour-announces-replacements

Think DIS came across like proper assholes over the whole thing. I've seen DM's from DIS to Meth over the whole thing and they're even more embarrassing for them. Real arrogant dickheads

Delighted to announce WORN OUT are coming back to Kilkenny in July 🔥 Absolutely buzzing to finally get back. Kilkenny was an amazing place to grow up and I learned a lot from the all ages gigs there. People like Stacy at Cameo Noise should be celebrated for trying to bring more bands to places like Kilkenny. She's recently just sold out a show with Overhead The Albatross by putting the graft in. The more support people like Stacy gets the better

📍Cleere's Theatre, Kilkenny

📆 Saturday, 5th July

Hey all,

I'm curious to see what you would like to see more of in the Irish metal scene with regards to shows

Anything from types of bands, times or anything else you can think of that you think would make going to metal gigs in Ireland better

I'm speaking mainly of more local adjacent shows rather than the bigger shows

What do you like? What works for you and what doesn't

On April 25th we are bringing you an incredibly huge lineup to Dali Cork with 100% of proceeds going towards our friend Adam Moore's MS Stem Cell treatment.

Adam has been an integral part of the Irish scene for a long time, from playing guitar in HERO IN ERROR to currently running Merch Limbo alongside his Fiance, Tania and Marco, Adam has always been there to help others and now it's time to help him
Below is a piece written by Tania on Adam's Gofundme

"Watching Adam navigate the ups and downs of MS has been both heart-wrenching and inspiring. From the initial blow of losing his mobility to the triumphant strides he made in reclaiming his independence, Adam's journey has been a testament to his strength.
Recently, however, our world has been shaken once again. Adam now struggles with severe tremors in his hands, making it difficult for him to use a knife & fork, write/type and perform many simple everyday tasks. He deals with pain and severe fatigue, and his medical team has confirmed that his MS has started to progress.

In our search for treatment we found a clinic in Germany offering stem cell treatment for MS (Using Adam's own stem cells). He has been identified as a suitable candidate for this potentially life-changing intervention. However, the financial cost – over €75,000 is overwhelming, especially with Adam's decreasing ability to work due to his condition.

Adam has taken control of his health through meticulous diet and exercise regimens, striving to optimise his well-being in every possible way. Yet, the progression of MS poses challenges that extend beyond his control, hindering his ability to work and perform daily tasks. Adam's positivity and determination continue to inspire me every day. Despite his challenges, he remains steadfast in his commitment to his health and well-being."

A special show calls for a very special lineup. We're bringing four headline worthy artists together for one spectacular show in Dali Cork in aid of Adam's stem cell treatment. We are confident this will be a sell out show and help raise much needed funds for Adam with your help.

HERO IN ERROR
WORN OUT
Codespeaker
Nealo

Tickets are available now through eventbrite for €15 with all proceeds going directly towards Adams stem cell treatment. If you cannot make this show please feel free to donate to Adams GoFundMe page

Are these the first two horses to make it inside Cork Rehearsal Studios? Probably not. Are they even the first horses to be drinking Beamish in there? Who knows but probably not

Always great craic to have people giving their thoughts in the comments

Personally I fucking despise trying to make a top 10 anything so come watch my brain melt and probably give my vote to something that came out three years ago

💀 XMAS LINEUP UPDATE 💀

Unfortunately Red Sun Alert are no longer able to join us for our Xmas show but luckily Partholón are here to take their place 🔥

We had so many messages begging for tickets and mentioning tickets to see Partholon last week for our sold out Hundred Year Old Man, Codespeaker, Partholon and UNCULTIVATES show at CRS that we felt it was only right to give you all another chance to see these local monsters 👊

Joining us for our biggest Xmas party ever we have Sludge/Doom legends Coroza playing their one and only hometown headline show this year since the release of their incredible album 'As Within' on Cursed Monk Records in May 😈

Making their way from Inverness, Scotland we have our old friends and Ieperfest alumni Below the Neck  bringing their incredibly hefty metallic hardcore to Cork for one night only 👊

With them we have sludgey heft merchants Adversary who blew us away earlier in the year when we caught them live

Tickets are moving so get yours today and come celebrate an incredible year for us all in the Cork scene and ring out the final Dead Cult show in style 😈

Hey all,

Firstly I actually just wanted to say a quick thank you.

I'm Evan from Dead Cult, WORN OUT, Uncultivates and Low Violent. First time posting on this forum but I've been sent a lot of the kind and support words said about each project from here and I very much appreciate it. A lot of work goes into keeping everything running and seeing everyone always showing up and supporting makes it all very much worth it

Anyway, Dead Cult are going to start posting full sets from some of our shows and the first one was the sold out WORN OUT EP launch in Dali. Whole thing was shot by someone in the pit so you really do get a good feel for how absolutely mental the show was

We have some of the sets from the Rehearsal Spaces filmed that I'll be posting over the next while but for now here you go. You can smell the sweat and fart. It's beautiful

If anyone has any questions about DC shows or anything else I'm more than happy to answer or take suggestions as to what you'd like to see or anything go for it :)
