Gigs and Festivals / WORN OUT @ Electric Picnic
August 12, 2025, 01:59:31 PM
I was told countless times I'd never make it happen, it was pointless to even try and that I'd be wasting my time. I was told this over and over again. This has been years in the making. Years of pushing and proving its worth putting a band like us on. We're the only and first metal band on this 85,000 + sold out festival

Hopefully this is the start of something new. The start of heavier bands having the chance to play a major festival in Ireland and not being snubbed and forgotten. Massive love to Jerry for having the balls to make this a real freakshow and my man Kilo 1977 for believing in us from the very start

Anyway, if I'm remembered for one thing let it be that I was the first person in history to get a metal band booked at Electric Picnic and I'm really proud of that

We are bringing the incredible TAYNE (MNRK Heavy) to Dali Cork on October 24th. Joining them on the night is Essex based Deathcore powerhouses Beyond Extinction making their Irish debut after playing shows with Humanity's Last Breath and Signs of the Swarm to bring a floor shatteringly heavy set to Cork 💪

Not only that but we've got local legends Following The Signs Who will be releasing their new EP and Terror Syndrome on this incredibly eclectic show that has something for everyone

Metal Discussion / WORN OUT - Scottish Tour Video
June 26, 2025, 03:14:32 PM
WORN OUT have just uploaded a 20 minute tour video from the last Scottish run in April with Below The Neck if anyone is interested in the behind the scenes kind of things

I guess real talk for a minute, it's very very expensive for us to fly over and tour around the UK as much as we have been doing it but we love it. It's what we want to do but yeah, it's quite consuming on a lot of aspects so even watching the video, streaming our music or picking something up from bandcamp helps us massively

Also, if there are other Irish bands that have videos like this please do send them on. Personally, I love to see this kind of stuff especially from Irish bands so happy to watch any and all

Can't afford the ridiculous ticket price? Sharon Osbourne doing your head in? We've got you covered!

Craic Sabbath is a high-energy Black Sabbath tribute band hailing from Limerick, Ireland, bringing the iconic sounds of Ozzy Osbourne, Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler, and Bill Ward back to life with an Irish flair. With powerful renditions of Sabbath classics, Craic Sabbath honors the pioneering legacy of one of metal's most influential bands, offering an authentic and unforgettable experience for fans of Sabbath.

Their live performances are a celebration of heavy riffs, dark lyrics, and a crowd-pleasing energy that leaves fans headbanging and craving more. The band has filled venues all over Ireland, and recently featured on the documentary "The Great Pretenders" on RTE and were mentioned in the Sunday Times and RTE guide.

Get your tickets to Craic Sabbath at The Kino, Cork on July 19th from eventbrite now

I'm sure everyone saw this last week but I'm interested to see everyone's thoughts on it

For anyone unaware you can find more about it below:

Think DIS came across like proper assholes over the whole thing. I've seen DM's from DIS to Meth over the whole thing and they're even more embarrassing for them. Real arrogant dickheads

Delighted to announce WORN OUT are coming back to Kilkenny in July 🔥 Absolutely buzzing to finally get back. Kilkenny was an amazing place to grow up and I learned a lot from the all ages gigs there. People like Stacy at Cameo Noise should be celebrated for trying to bring more bands to places like Kilkenny. She's recently just sold out a show with Overhead The Albatross by putting the graft in. The more support people like Stacy gets the better

📍Cleere's Theatre, Kilkenny

Hey all,

I'm curious to see what you would like to see more of in the Irish metal scene with regards to shows

Anything from types of bands, times or anything else you can think of that you think would make going to metal gigs in Ireland better

I'm speaking mainly of more local adjacent shows rather than the bigger shows

What do you like? What works for you and what doesn't
