Also speaking of Keanu, I watched Ballerina the other day. It's a John Wick film with a different star, that's all you need to know really. Silly, overly choreographed, minimally plotted, marginally enjoyable, switch-yer-brain-off nonsense.

I'm not usually a fan of artists going back and editing old music but I kind of wish he'd go back and edit Ziltoid so it doesn't use EZdrummer. I have nothing against drum machines, but that particular version of drumkit from hell has a horrible sounding snare and plasticy kick. Or maybe I've developed a hatred for it from spending so much time using it myself.

My only issue with Ziltoid is the skits/intros in character. Fun the first time around but distracting afterwards. For the second one he released a 'clean' version without all that and I'd love to hear a similar version of the first album, the music itself is mighty.

Devin Townsend Project: Ki

This one is borderline, has its heavier moments but is generally progressive rock more than metal so here it goes. Self indulgent as always but flows well enough.

Bark Psychosis: Hex

Ki or Addicted (whichever was most recent) was the last thing of his I liked - that I've heard anyway, I gave up on him a long time ago. When he was good, he was fucking great though.
