Hunt will be back in for a while so, I reckon. He did a decent job on the couple of albums he sang on previously.

Also speaking of Keanu, I watched Ballerina the other day. It's a John Wick film with a different star, that's all you need to know really. Silly, overly choreographed, minimally plotted, marginally enjoyable, switch-yer-brain-off nonsense.

Shameless is indeed shite, thankfully I picked that one up fairly cheap & secondhand on Ebay.
Just went to pick up the deluxe reissue of One Cure Fits All there, €28 for the bastard on CD. That was Amazon, Spindizzy are sold out, I'll keep looking.

Class film, haven't seen it in years. Cleavon Little was the DJ in that I think?
Makes me want to stick on the Primal Scream album now.

I just read there that Forrest was in a bad car crash in Germany in '98, so presumably the Dublin show was just after that. Mystery solved.

I like Wreck It..., it was deadly live on that tour, a great opener IMO.

I remember picking it up and thinking these guys truly don't give a fuck, it's some selection of covers and Gemini is a hidden gem if ever there were one.
The only Slayer album I don't own, I find it comical.

Ebdon was unwatchable in his day, and that crown has now been taken by Selby.

I had the Papua New Guinea Translations on this morning, which of course samples DCD's Dawn of the Iconoclast. Mad
Great use of it alright, cracking tune(s).

May 07, 2026, 12:56:18 PMQuote from: tonictitan on May 07, 2026, 12:32:20 PMI'm not usually a fan of artists going back and editing old music but I kind of wish he'd go back and edit Ziltoid so it doesn't use EZdrummer. I have nothing against drum machines, but that particular version of drumkit from hell has a horrible sounding snare and plasticy kick. Or maybe I've developed a hatred for it from spending so much time using it myself.
My only issue with Ziltoid is the skits/intros in character. Fun the first time around but distracting afterwards. For the second one he released a 'clean' version without all that and I'd love to hear a similar version of the first album, the music itself is mighty.

Devin Townsend Project: Ki
This one is borderline, has its heavier moments but is generally progressive rock more than metal so here it goes. Self indulgent as always but flows well enough.
Bark Psychosis: Hex

Ki or Addicted (whichever was most recent) was the last thing of his I liked - that I've heard anyway, I gave up on him a long time ago. When he was good, he was fucking great though.
