You done right, especially given that season 2 ends only in a way to set up what will be a thoroughly unneeded season 3.

Speaking of crap starring Tom Hiddleston (see Film thread, on High-Rise), watched season 2 of The Night Manager. Terrible, one of the worst shows I've seen in years. Compared to Slow Horses, it's closer to James Bond Jr in terms of smart narration or dialogue.

Counterpoint hot take: Cronenberg's Crash is better than the book.

I've missed a few of his more recent ones, but also a big fan of Kill List, Sightseers, and A Field in England. Saw High Rise in the cinema and didn't really connect with it either, but have been meaning to give it another go some time. Like Mother. Although, I'm far less inclined to revisit any Aronofsky since he started pushing AI slop.

It's actually good that mentallers are allowed run in elections. It reflects healthy democracy. As we recently saw in Ireland, it wasn't good for people's perception of democracy that Countess Designerbagface wasn't able to run and lose in our presidential election.
