Coming up April 25th we have a very special event an intimate evening with the mighty Slomatics live at the paranoid pit.Formed in Belfast late 2004, Slomatics aim to reduce riffs to a primal state of heaviness, to produce music which whilst imploding under it's own weight, creates a a joyous and euphoric state of wellbeing which can only be obtained with a slew of vintage amplifiers, fuzz pedals, analog synths and an alarming array of percussion instruments. The band has played some of the most prestigious stages in underground metal such as Roadburn and Desertfest amongst others and they are held in very high esteem around the world. We are privileged to be able to experience them live and direct in the paranoid pit .To say im excited by this would be an understatement.Support on the night comes from Corks own Coroza who released their first full length Chaliceburner in 2019 a stoner doom epic which for me is one of my albums of the year.No strangers to the paranoid pit and with a whole load of new jams to share with us on the night expect a journey through space and time.Opening the night we have Irish doom legends Brigantia. These Limerick men never fail to impress with a live set of classic doom sounds reminiscent of St Vitus,Pentagram and the obsessed and i am delighted to have these guys set the mood for the night. So Belfast,Cork and Limerick all represented in what will be one of the best nights so far in the paranoid pit.Its gonna get spiritual hope you will join us in for this stoner doom ritual \m/

If that wasn't enough for you we have the young Cork maestros God Alone in support. If you haven't come across these guys sonic experimentation yet you must have been living under a rock the last few years.
