saw them at a festival last year - Edsel does quite a good job on vocals, and overall I really enjoyed the show.

Yeah I actually preferred Coltaine (her hair is amazing too  ). I found Faetooth got a bit samey but they're a good band. Dublin was really busy

any idea what time are doors in Dublin? I don't see any info on the website. edit: tickets say 8 to 11pm.

Never heard of it. Looks like a good line up and it's a very cheap price for the 2 days

We had a hotel around the quays, 3 stops away from the venue on the tram line. Was 370 euro for 3 nights, including breakfast for 2 people. Which I thought was good value. Hotel was a little old fashioned but clean & comfortable (Copthorne Salford Quays).

Loved Stampin Ground, the crowd was wild and the frontman did a great job. Raging Speedhorn always good fun. Messa and Castle Rat, a nice bit of doom.
Agree about OVerhead the Albatros, really good set, comes across very well live. Wormrot was probably my highlight of Saturday, great energy.
Sunday had a ton of good stuff, missed some bands as I was too tired

Waiting for the plane back to Dublin.
It's a great festival, really well organised, good food and beer options, everything runs like clockwork with the bands starting and finishing. Sound seemed good every where. All the punters were sound. Would deffo recommend it to anyone here for the future.
Anaal Nathrakh were cool, delighted to see them finally.

Will grab tickets for this when I get paid. What's Opiumlike as a venue? I've somehow avoided going there up to now..

It's a kip - i always get depressed when I see a band i like is playing there. Layout is really annoying and it takes ages to get served at the bar.

the bar has been pretty quick the last couple of times I was there (it was shit in the  past though), but yeah, the layout is really weird, especially having to wade through the crowd to go to the jacks

Pre sale is on at the moment, seated tickets seem very expensive anyway e.g. £150, not sure how much standing will be. Mad money for them

Yeah NoS is always on the Friday beforehand, it's almost grown into its own thing at this stage

There is a Damnation Festival Forum on Facebook, Gav posted an update about 5 days ago there with the details.

The venue only has a capacity of 450 so they expect it to sell out pretty quickly even without bands confirmed.

He also said it would be about £35

• Lineup - Four bands, that are already playing the main festival but they will not be announced before tickets go on sale
• Playing special album sets
• On sale 15 Sept

Primordial teased Spirit The Earth Aflame being 25 and maybe playing it in full so they could be one of the bands.

Deadguy also apparently released a poster with the NoS date on it.

Just got tickets for this, by my reckoning at least 6 bands on Sat and 8 on Sunday I want to see. If anyone wants to meet up for a beer during, let me know
