I tried viewing your profile and strangely it was taking a much longer time to load than anybody else's profile. I think I may have isolated the issue (which was possibly effecting only your account). A quick test shows your profile now loading as quickly as everyone elses, so I'm hoping that's it fixed. Let me know if it's still happening so I can dig into it further.

This entire thread is a subject which is obviously going to cause arguments and debates but please keep it civil.

It's been shifted to the left. Is that any better or does it look stupid?

How is it now? It's in the same position but it shouldn't trigger anymore when you're scrolling. It'll close easier too by tapping anywhere else.

Is this the button you're talking about? I could move them more to the left if that helps.

Is it the same thing every time? Missing banner and a huge empty space? I'm trying to think what would cause that because even if the image wasn't loading the space shouldn't be so big.

I haven't noticed anything running slowly on my end. I'll keep an eye on the server performance. Is anybody else noticing the same problem?

There was a problem with spf/dkim settings which was causing emails to be rejected from some hosts. It should be fixed now if you want to try again.

There's a server error which is causing email problems. Thanks for letting me know. I'm looking into it now and will let you know when it's fixed.

Looks like youtube doesn't play nice with one of the referrer-policy headers I had set. I've changed it and it looks to be working now. Hopefully it'll also fix the issue with any other videos too.

Do you mean the occasional "Video unavailable" error, or it's not embedding at all?

You don't need to use the [youtube] tags to embed. You can just paste a link and the forum will automatically convert it to an embed when you submit the post. There's a limitation in the embed code where it doesn't process the link correctly if it ends with "?si=oSyo0IEAaCXsASCn" which happens if you grab the link via the "share" button on youtube. The "si" part of the link is some tracking thing which isn't actually needed. The workaround is to delete this part of the link before you post it.

Delete the ?si= part so your link looks like:

Post any links here which aren't working and I'll look into it to see what's going on.

Mobile embeds should now be working. Let me know of any issues, with size in particular.

There's currently a few bugs with the forum. I'll most likely have to stick the forum in maintenance mode for a few hours at some point over the weekend while I look into it. It'll hopefully fix the search results and youtube embeds.

Something seems to have broke with the plugin which handles embedding. I'll need to find some time to dig into it and see what's happened.

Not that I'm aware of. What's the problem? Anyone else having issues?
