I've mentioned this new band I'm in before but ahead of playing the Siege of Limerick next week, figured we'd put a song up. Not sure I'd class this as metal exactly but closer to the heavier end of the Noise Rock/Grunge spectrum I guess - if you like Melvins, Torche, Boris or Old Man Gloom we've been compared to all them.
Electricals is myself, Cory Mifsud & Peter McNally (who were in Lurch and Drainland) and Aidan O'Hanlon (ex Crows) This is the first strack from a four songer we recorded mostly live in studio with Stephen Caffrey in September that will be released in full later in the year.

Savage! CD or LP happening, or is it going to remain digital?
Cheers! I can't see any real need for us to put out a physical release just yet but never say never I guess, we'll lash it up as a digital thing first and take it from there. At the moment the main priority is gigging like crazy in 2020. This is designed very much to be a live band. Figuring out a weekender with another Irish band we like a lot for early in the new year
Ah yeah, that sounds decent. Great energy in it. I'll keep an eye out for the rest of it.
Good stuff, nice one.
Excellent tune. Well looking forward to hearing the rest, and seeing ye at the siege.
Very cool tune there. Another one added to the list to see at the siege.
Cheers fellas.
If anyone's at Siege we're upstairs at 18.35 right after Coscradh.
That's good stuff. Right up my street. Looking forward to hearing more and seeing you guys live.
Cheers. Sorting a couple of gigs around the country for early next year currently.

For Cork I'd say get on to paranoid beast promotions. They do the paranoid pit every month and ye would be perfect for that. That's unless ye have something different planned which in that case ignore everything I said.
Cork is indeed sorted ;)
Paranoid monthly show in Fredz is your best bet, alright.
Unless you're teaming up with the likes of Horse, who usually do their own thing quite successfully.
Ye were deadly at the Siege anyway but I already wore the ears off you about that while we were there
Yeah, Howard is looking after it, full details soon I guess. Very excited to get back down, twas historically a great spot for Serpents and Drainland, and we never got down there with Lurch. haha, you did Olly, Cheers.
Full ep shouldn't be much longer.

Soooooo.... Magnapinna or Parthalón? 😝
Why don't you ask him? Either is good with us. I'll shut up about this now til it gets a proper announcement

Deadly. Gonna check that out later.
Class stuff man, liking the sound of those tunes.
Cheers folks. I'll be first to admit the vocals are a bit iffy but it is what it is.
Good stuff man, love the sporadic Nirvana-y chord changes on the Heat Death chorus, and there's some Mike Patton vibes and inflections on those Pavarotti vocals.
How many tunes have you's written overall? Almost certain I remember you's playing some almost surf rock sounding tune at the hut gig!
Theres two more - the "Surf Rock" one we didnt record and another one we finished last week and played Cork.
Really digging your stuff dude, if you're ever looking to get a show in the north give me a wee shout and I'll put something together
Thanks man. Dont think we'll get up this year but you never know
Pete made a video for "I'm Going To The Fucking Moon". this is it:

Veeeeery quick update: Pilmoor Records in the UK is putting out a tape version of "Healing Services" this month, I'll post full details once it's available (before anyone asks, no it won't be on vinyl or cd). We should have a small number of copies ourselves for locals too. We'll also be doing a quick run of shirts that will go up for order around the same time. I'll post order links and on update on new stuff in the next week or two.
It's up on their Bandcamp now:
https://pilmoorrecords.bandcamp.com/album/electricals-healing-services
I've ordered my copy.
I've listened to this a few times now and I think it's great. I mentioned already the energy in it and that's still the overriding impression after a few goes. Well done with it.
Cheers! I imagine that "energy" will pretty much explode once we finally get to gig again.
New songs are underway, shirt are coming in September, but most importantly tapes are now officially available as of today via
http://pilmoorrecords.bandcamp.com
We'll have 20 copies ourselves which will be posted on our bandcamp this Friday but these will be for locals primarily, and will be in a limited amount.
We've a new tune on the various streaming sites and on bandcamp today here:

Probably the closest we get to "metal " nowadays but may be of interest to some.
gig news soon. there's an album called "It's Your Problem Now" coming this summer.
That's quality. Pure early 90s vibe oozing out from everywhere. Vocals have really got something to them too.
I've been enjoying this a lot since it's out, great track, can't wait for the rest!
Cheers folks. Playing our first gig in TWO FUCKING YEARS on March 19th in Dublin (which I suspect Ochoill is aware of ;) ) - details in the gig thread.
