Nice job on securing this gig H..... thank you.
Any chance of you chasing up Heilung too?
Was asked to do Heilung but couldn't find a suitable venue for what they wanted to do.

Ah damn. Yeah, their stage production is pretty big.
Pity, would have been class to see them bring it to these shores.

Heilung would be amazing but hard to know how many would turn out for them.

That's a really cool tour poster. It resonates well with my chakras.... \m/
Tickets on sale this morning.....
Please note the Wardruna show originally scheduled for June 5th will now take place on April 18th 2021. This is due, of course, to the ongoing Covid-19 situation. Existing tickets remain valid.

Not so bad, it's still on a weekend night. Thanks for the info H.....
From Tickerbastard:
We have just been advised that Wardruna at Vicar Street which was rescheduled to the 18th of April 2021 (previously 5th June 2020) has been rescheduled again due to COVID-19.
Take note:
This event will now take place at the same venue on Wednesday 23rd March 2022.
Looks like nothings happening 2021.
Unfuckingreal.
If there's gigs in Oz this year McLove, can we crash at your new gaff?
Certainly.
Fair dinkum cobber... 8)
What bit of Oz you heading to? I was there in 2013 for 3 weeks. Got married there. Excellent country, and lovely people.
Melbourne. I've been there numerous times and yeah, it's a great place. I also got married over there a couple of years ago as my wife is Aussie. I think the lifestyle the place offers is very appealing even if I'm going to melt. I have a plan to get a bit of a recording setup together when I move over as I've a load of ideas I want to explore but fucked if I'm arsed trying to break into the local scene and suss out who is who, and who is on my wavelength. With the ideas in brewing I have a feeling there'd be nobody else on the same page anyway and as I can more or less drum to a basic standard- enough to do what I need- and I can also handle the rest of the instruments too so why not start up a dreaded one man band and finally become the dictator I've always aspired to be.
Yes, melbourne was were we arrived. Only there for 4 days and at first I thought it was just another big city but as we explored it I ended up wishing we had a few more days there. Did you ever do the puffin billy steam train when there? It's pretty cool you can sit on the edge of the train, legs hanging out, risking your life and no health and safety around.
Envy you, man!
I have been over there five times and Puffing Billy is not far from where her folks live but we only got around to doing it last time we were over. It was a brilliant experience. In fact, our hope and plan is to move up to, or near, the town where Puffing Billy departs from. It's close to the city, close to her family but crucially (for me) up in the hills and surrounded by stunning forests. There's so much great stuff to see and do around that general area.
You're just right to get out of here when you can. Place is fucked.

Nothing wrong with a one man band and it's actually probably the way to go considering everything happening right now.
In fact since I started it I don't think I'd ever want to play with people again and there's no one to tell me my riffs are shit haha.
Best of luck with it!
......
How's this selling so far H..?
I've a friend who's thinking of going but will decide closer to the date...
It's sold out.
Thanks man....
Amazing show last night, 10/10 for everything (bar the merch)
