I've been researching options for getting t-shirts screen printed recently because my usual/preferred providers aren't available at the moment and thought I'd share my findings whilst also soliciting further information from everyone here.
Best value in descending order (only mentioning 3 of the 10 or so providers i contacted as the rest were significantly more expensive):
- Heck Press (UK): https://www.facebook.com/HeckPress/
- Pins N Knuckles (UK): http://www.pinsandknucklesmerch.com/
- Volcano Screen Prints (UK): https://www.volcanoscreenprints.com
Heck Press (already the best of the bunch) gets extra points for deep connections to, and sterling reputation within, the Irish scene. The only reason I'm exploring other options is that she's out of action over autumn/winter 2019 for family reasons.
I believe Tom (Killer Screen Prints) in Galway is no longer available and I couldn't find any other Irish option worth recommending (which is probably why UK-based Heck Press is so popular with everyone these days). Neither have I found any continental options worth recommending.
Anyway, with Brexit looming and the potential for new customs/import duty denting the appeal of the UK-based providers above, can anyone recommend any EU options for merch?
For patches, https://www.facebook.com/ukrpatcher/ has no competition worth mentioning as far as I'm aware.
Tom/Killer is still doing printing.
What's he go by these days?

website is down but look for Killer screen print on instagram. He's done stuff for No Spill Blood, Genuflection, Girl Band and Bartape recently and we're looking to get our shirts done through him at the moment, but I think Tom works in the brewing industry full time now so it might be more of a side hustle
Thanks!
In Ireland I know of (but know next to nothing about) Pulled in Sligo who Horse use for their shirts
http://www.pulled.ie/
and Absurd Merch who I think might be based in Cork? They seem to do all those Cork metalcore bands' merch anyway.

As far as I remember, maybe one of the Coscradh lads might know, all the Invictus related/Vircolac merch was done by someone on the continent. Don't know who.

Coscradh/Sacrilegia using killertees also. Good quality & Tom always has the job done on time.

Killer Screen Print did our first run and Heck Press our second. Quality was similar on both but HP beat KS by about €80 on a 50 run including shipping. They both were very easy to work with and straightforward re. turnaround times, art, costs.
Post-brexit duty on uk imported t-shirts (under HS tariff 6109 10 0010) would be 12%, then add 23% VAT (based on value including duty) to that again - going on the two orders above it ends up almost price matched.
Just some stuff to consider.
update: just because I had Taric left open in work, noticed that shirts from the US are meant to be 25% duty - ridiculous.
Erm nert gerting merch dern terday, er kern terl yer!
Thanks everyone. Interesting how much cheaper the UK providers (of all sizes) are than their Irish and continental counterparts. Brexit might put an end to that though with the potential for new customs charges and the like.
