LOR ... same guys who brought them over to the Bash last summer.

Looking forward to a few MSG and Rainbow classics.

Cool- thanks. Hope it goes well. Will get along. 'The jokers' are support here I think.

Just curious as to how this went, many there?

Would love to have gone, but, what with work and not living in Dublin, couldn't make it.

Eyes of the world must be one of the best songs ever written.

All a bit odd - GB has back trouble so he was doing a good Val Doonican impression (as he said himself) sitting on a stool. Big issues with the sound and what appeared to be his mic dropping totally. Eventually he stopped the gig as they tried to work on the issues - band couldn't hear themselves on stage. Seems like issues too with guitarist and GB  - he played over some of the intros to the songs! Reasonable crowd at it - but the gig fell a bit flat with all the issues.

Joe Stump on guitar this year made for a different gig. Joe plays a million notes per minute in the style of Yngwie Malmsteen.

I can't remember the name of the guitarist who played with Graham in the Button Factory last year. But he was clearly a Ritchie Blackmore fan.

Different styles. I preferred last year myself, however, the band appreciated Joe Stumps solos entertaining the crowd while they were having sound issues investigated.
