Back in the day when people bought singles, B-sides could throw up some gems. In some cases youre left wondering how it didn't make the album. This is all packaged up nowadays in deluxe editions bollocks. Any B-sides stand out for you? For me I always thought the B-side "Lake of Fools" from WASPs 1989 single "The Real Me" was a stunner although in hindsight perhaps the pacing of the song didn't blend with the flow of the album..still a cracker of a song. Any others come to mind?

I the anniversary reissue of the debut Angel Witch album there are a few extras and B- sides included. Confused and Loser could have easily fit on the album without causing a dip in quality. Fantastic extras to have.

I have that on picture disc! Cracking song, but probably too similar to Forever Free to be included on the album.
Headless Children is still one of my favorite albums.
I will try to think of some decent b sides and get back here..

What a song and yet they fucking seemed to prefer Am I Evil instead
Am I Evil is nice and sliw for their old asses nowadays. The Prince was another amazibg cover they did. Think it's on the Harvester of Sorrow B Side
Here we go...

That and Breadfan on Harvester of Sorrow. Which single was Blitzkrieg on? Above performance is amazeballs
I think Blitzkrieg and Am I Evil? were on the Creeping Death 12".

Should probably change the title to best Metallica b-sides at this stage
Reach out by maiden
B sides on the Heartwork single were great. Rot n Roll and can't remember the name of the other one. Not quite up to the standard of the album tracks but pretty entertaining.
Some good stuff on some of the paradise lost singles earlier on too.

This is possibly the only album I can think of that was improved by cd bonus tracks.
Always loved this one, better than most of the album's tracks:

Megadeth B Sides release Hidden Treasures has some of my favourite songs by them. Carcass released Wake up and smell the Carcass which I lurved. Danzig has one too, I have it, but have rarely listened it.

Therapy? have a wealth of quality b-sides.
Especially from back in their hayday.
'Suing God' is a personal fave...

Quite enjoy this one, probably more than half of the tracks on Icon. I find it to be a bit of a transitional album. Track feels like a tease of what was to come with Draconian Times.

Suing God would have been the best song on Semi-detached - an album which had some great songs to these ears. Top five Therapy? songs for me without doubt. Maybe even top 3.

Always irked me why they never played the 2nd half of AIE live - it's the best bit! Even back in the day they didn't play it...

Lot of quality therapy? B sides - it's not very rock n roll but the song Our Love Must Die is amazing, should be been on Infernal Love.
Similarly, Smashing Pumpkins had a wealth of consistently superb b-sides up to Corgan over-extending himself around the time of Mellon Collie.
Dunno if it can be termed a B-Side but the extra song 'Prisoner of your eyes' on Screaming for Vengeance is always a favourite.

Same with Maiden's Total Eclipse, I know it was originally a bside but it's included on the full album on all the reissues these days. Great song either way
A class song, and stylistically it could have fit perfectly on 7th Son.
It's not on the most recent reissues (the 2015 remasters, which just came out on digipaks). None of the tacked-on songs are.
It's an OK track, but not up to the standard of the album tracks. Twilight Zone was a cracker, though.
