Title: Isfet -Mayest Thou Wander Aimlessly (EP 2019)
Post by: O Drighes on June 11, 2019, 09:12:03 PM
Pretty good stuff in the 90's Black Metal vein, reminds me of completely different bands in different parts but first things to spring to mind were Sorhin, Ophtalamia and early Peste Noire minus the ultra high-pitched vocals at the very start...

That's cool enough. Sounds like a less raucous Circle of Dawn to me.

I hadn't heard of Circle of Dawn before but I liked their 2017 album. Really good comparison, although it may also stem from the likes of twisted and controversial metal both Peste Noire and Grand Belial's Key used to deliver. Loved the production though...sounds authentically raw to modern production standards rather than emulating the 90's sound like most do.
