I got a promotional email from Signal Rex about this new Danish black metal band whose album they are putting out later in the summer and the songs available in their page are immediately hitting the spot. There is nothing particularly new here but everything is done really well. Harsh, vicious, melodic, nice use of acoustics, raw vocals, quietly dramatic clean vocals, a clear and aggressive production. Well worth a listen.

Going through the whole promo as I type this... not innovative for sure, but decent stuff. I like the vocals in particular and he references they provide on the bandcamp description are quite accurate.
