An announcement on this is imminent allegedly, Villa Park for UK and an unnamed venue in the USA. I think the world has moved on somewhat since Ozzfest was a thing, the last line-up in 2018 was fairly poor, from memory Manson, Rob Zombie, shit like that.
I'm not sure what it could offer over other events in an already saturated festival market. Jack said it himself, a suitable headliner may be hard to come by.

Seems to be a massive numetal revival at the minute, so if they got a load of the acts that they would have booked back in the day I'd say it'd sell fairly well

It's interesting as when it started in '96 Heavy Music was in the toilet and it was a direct reaction to Ozzy not being able to get on the Lollapalooza tour. With Ozzy dead, the festival (& gig) market saturated, and this purely a financial vehicle for Ozzy's disgusting family, I hope it's an absolute flop.
I was at the Sabbath show last year, and while it was unreal, I'd not be rushing back for whoever sharon and kids book (see Yungblud and other buy-on crap). Without Ozzy/Sabbath wtf even is Ozzfest?! Nearly 10 years since the last one and it was weak.
Couldn't do the Sabbath show myself so naively perhaps hoping for something Sabbath adjacent even but reality is probably Yungblud.
This is nothing only a cash cow for that hideous family and probably to pay off Jacks debts, Ozzy for me never was relevant after No More Tears and even that was weak enough, I can't stomach that maudling shite that came after that and don't get me started on that Sabbath reunion that Darth Hideous herself had her mucky paws all over and with fucking around with Bills contract plus Rubin ruining what possibly could have been a decent album, fuck every one of them and here's hoping they fade into obscurity
