Yup, gonna be a bit of a trip. Hotels seem very cheap right now though so might just make a night of it.

Many Megadeth fans including me and alot of lads I know didn't go , 1st of all as it was a support slot, and also because of Draimans pro genocide antics. This show would have brought 10k I reckon to the 3 Arena?
Farewell tour, I'd imaginge it would have gotten enough interest to justify a 3Arena show. If Sepultura can do it...

I don't think so. Megadeth were never a massive draw here anyways. They'd play and fill the SFX in the 90's or the Ambassador in the 2000s. Both 900-1000 capacity venues.
Their last headliner here pulled about 5K with Lamb of God in the 3 Arena.
Still with 11k capacity and likely a few thousand northern fans i think this will sell out , plus it will lilely be last time we see the band

DME posted that they couldn't get a Dublin show due to venue availability, so I'm guessing the 3 Arena is already booked for when the tour would be coming here

Sterling, so the £83 standing tickets are about 97 euro
Pounds, I think the likes of the €30 gig only really applies to the likes of Dolans or similar.
Im always surprised by people reacting to the high prices ar the big gigs. This is the way it is and has been since covid
I honestly didn't think Megadeth were that big these days. BLS and Testament are fantastic support, but it's almost sold out before the general on sale!

The O2 Belfast holds well over 11,000... There'll be tickets available right up until next March...
Ticketbastard, etc. always make it look scarce around the initial ticket sales, so they can bump up their own ticket scam: subsidiary ticket sites.

looked great, wish i'd got to that one. i've enjoyed all the Odyssey gigs i've been to
when Megadeth was announced i initial though it was going to be around a ton for a ticket, ended up paying pretty much that. would rather it was less but it's the way of things unfortunately.
i paid 90 odd euro for Sabbath in the 3Arena in 2017, not much shocks me after that ;D
