Title: Faith No More Reuniting?
Post by: Pagan Saviour on June 16, 2026, 03:53:21 PM
Trading something on their socials maybe dates. Is Patton going to be involved though? The band seemed really unhappy with him, though I did see a pic of himself and Bordin at an event recently and all looked jovial

Erm, not true? Is this a joke.

Also I have seen ppl commenting on socials "bring Jim back", no chance there, does he even play guitar anymore (not that he couldn't now but..)

The last FNM album was welcome but didn't do it for me personally. Patton doesn't seem to be interested anyway, end of. He never seemed that interested back in the day either (his main focus was always Mr Bungle or something else), constantly taking the mick, So, what's the point.

Sol Invictus was shit, but most interesting is that Album Of The Year is 30 next year, maybe they'll play it through? That'd be worth seeing.

As a video in lieu of a support act at a gig where they play a good album in full, perhaps?

Lower the bar, so to speak, in advance of good music being played  ;)

I'd take AOTY over Sol Invictus, KFADFFAL and the Mosley albums any day of the week, it's quite underrated IMO. While The Real Thing and Angel Dust are their undeniable peak(s), I've played them to death and AOTY is my go-to FNM album these days.

Now, about the possible reunion: I would go anyway.

While I know it won't happen, I'd like to see Jim Martin back for a trip with them. It says a lot about how much of a non-entity John Hudson is that someone who hasn't released anything in over 30 years with them has more appeal.
