Great craic live..glad to see em back
Wow! Ambitious. Saw them in Vicar St. Good gig but was there mainly for Accept as support. Have they become that popular?
Was also at that Vicar Street gig. Had a look at it was only €45 for that ticket. I know that was 10 years ago but still!

Festival headliner at Wacken, Hellfest etc, stadium act on the continent, arena sized act UK & elsewhere. They have really exploded the last 5-10 years (similar to Powerwolf's trajectory)

Mental isn't it..saw em first in the button factory whenever that was and I'd never seen it so packed..we wandered in and got a ticket at the door thinking it'd only be the 2 of us at it..was prob about 20quid in can't remember
Remember the last 3 shows in Dublin. The academy show was the day after Saxon if I recall.
Yeah remember the accept show too. Think the year before was Alestorm supporting?
Pity no Belfast show. Travelling ain't easy these days.
Saw some clips of the production from the London show of the first leg of this tour and it looked impressive and completely over the top. Apparently between them and the orchestra they are a crew of 200 and over 20 trucks.
Yeah, it looks like a really good show alright. Think it was on the old forum after the Vicar St gig, H said they were one of the most professional crews he's worked with, which is probably saying a lot
Just a shame they haven't put as much effort into their music for the last 15 years

Pre sale link.
€99.90 for standing - absolutely outrageous
Pricey, but unfortunately seems the standard rate for gigs in the 3arena these days
Yeah the 60 euro arena ticket is long gone. Most gigs in Whelan's have jumped from 25 to 34. Whitechapel in the academy in January is 49. Not surprised this is 100 given the production.
At those prices I'd expect a near full size Battle of Kursk on the stage, not just their usual tank.
Sabaton = Nonsense
