Current lineup is:
19 still to be added

Came here to see if anyone posted about it.
I have tickets and delighted with the new headliners. Haven't seen CoL and Satyricon before so that's great. Despite Crowbar being here a lot, I kept missing them, so that's a nice bonus. Igorr I have only heard a couple of tracks but it looks suitably mad.
For the previous announcement, I was already pretty happy with Eyehategood and WITTR and a few of the smaller bands look great too (Rwake, Dodsrit etc)

Would love Satyricon to show up here while they over for that.

Health,Eyehategod and WITTR must have all played these shores at least twice in the last 5 years it feels like and as you allude to Crowbar are the Doom/sludge equivalent of Nile Rogers may aswell take up residence.

I think the price is nuts myself close to 200 euros?

Yeah it's about 200, it's a little pricey but I just paid 53 euro for Clutch in the Academy so in that context it's ok. It was very well organised last year and the venue is good

Be nice to see Triptykon finally return to Ireland when they are playing this.

With the amount of bands on the lineup I'd see 200 as really reasonable. I've been doing the installment plan payment method so I haven't really felt a sting as it's been little bits every month which makes a massive difference

Have I missed the memo? Are they playing Ireland? Or you just commenting on the volume of Irish damnation goers?  :D

Usually some of the bands playing Damnation will come over here for show either before or after it and Triptykon are long over due an Irish show having only ever played Cork once 14 years ago.

Wasn't there a great thread on MI about that? Auld Tom being particularly grumpy that day if I remember right

Yes RC was one day and Trip the second day if I remember correctly.

I always remember that MI thread after the show because anytime I have seen Tom after that be it an interview or a gig people always comment on how nice and friendly he is yet he was suppose to be an asshole to deal with at that Cork show

Yeah I remember folks weren't best pleased with him, but I cant recall the specifics. What I do remember is the cursed mini bus back to dublin after...Scobes and Gnasher smoking fags in a stupor next to the petrol pump at some filling station

"Untold Indignities" was part of his message on the walls I beleieve. Some builder might throw it up on donedeal.ie whenever the place is being done up/demolished.
Would be a good name for a band also  ;D

I think the thread is still in the wayback machine, including contributions from his stalker at the time... HEYYY!!!

Great gig, it must be said. I think it was someone asking him to sign a copy of Cold Lake which really upset him. It's a shame Triptykon aren't more prolific but that's how it goes, it seems. He's playing KIT in a few weeks, doing a Hellhammer and Celtic Frost set, as well as singing a Venom song or two with Mantas and Abaddon. Cannot fucking wait.

Eyehategod are coming to Ireland the week after Damnation. With Wormrot as support.
Might see 1 or 2 others pop over
