No interest myself, seemed to be one of those bands the UK press were mad about.

Is it me or is 48 lids a bit steep to see Little Angels in Opium? Hard to justify for anyone half-thinking of going along. Noticed the same to see Sugar in the Stadium midweek. A snip at c.€70. Clearly I am a tightwad now ...

They were a regular in Kerrang/Raw back in the day, I bought Young Gods on cassette in 91, title track was the best song on it, I don't think that they really had the songs to make the big breakthrough

Had a quick listen to that and one of the first comments sums it up

QuoteRemember had this album at the time. Possibly this was one of the tracks. They always felt like an anaesthetsied version of comparable US rock bands - possibly Cinderella... even the cover art was a poor man's Skid Row Urban grime

Yeah they just lacked that something to take it to the next level, they were lumped in with Thunder/Almighty at the time who had far better songs, I'm guessing grunge explosion didn't help either.
