Anything in particular anyone looking forward to? Scanning the lists of releases there and there isn't a whole lot metal wise that I'm overly excited for.
Mayhem's Liturgy of Death is out at the end of the month, I'll definitely pick it up even though the track they released was dull.
I am curious to hear the new COC double album, Mike Dean is now out of the picture and with Reed sadly deceased things don't look the best but maybe with their backs to the wall they've pulled something special out of the bag.
Bölzer.
Callous Master.
Zemial would be nice at this stage. Will it happen?...
Agatus?? I'm probably dreaming there, but a new one would be welcome...
Solstice will hopefully put something new out. Who knows.
Mourning Beloveth perhaps?
All those new Burzum demos recorded properly, ie. in Grieghallen!
The new Worm is out end of the month I think. Already leaked online and sounds fantastic, but looking forward to getting a proper copy
Beyond Creation are currently recording so they should have something out soon enough
And maybe this might be the year the new King Diamond and Mercyful Fate albums finally get finished
I'm looking forward to new one from The Ruins of Beverast, yeah looking forward to hearing what Bölzer come up with next. Vreid also have one due out possibly March?
Mourning Beloveth have a new EP good to go apparently.
Cruel Force and Degial to add to the already mentioned.
Yeah I'm really looking forward to Worm and Vreid also.
Fair play to Worm for getting picked up by Century Media.
The new Vreid track is great, more raw and epic. Back on Indie Recordings so I guess the Season of Mist push didn't work out. 6th March release IIRC.
I'm unsure where the "new" Kanonfieber sits - a 2 track ep with bonus, or a new album where the re-recorded tracks are noticeably different?
Down will finally release a new full length after COC release their new album.
There's bound to be a new Terror album which will be more laid back than the last one.
New Madball and hopefully the new Thorns album will arrive.
Shadows Fall as well.
I'd love a new MoonCitadel album as well.
Wasn't there a new Mooncitadel just released?
Tailgunner are releasing their second album in February, thought their debut was really good, so I shall be getting that.
Just watched a Worm video. Find it too bizarre that they sound like that now. Weren't they a death doom band?

It seems there was, that completely went over my head. I didn't hear it at all.
There was a new Mooncitadel released early last year and there's a new one on the way too.
Another year waiting for a new Dead Congregation album 🥀
New Exhumed album out this month.
Hmmm. Is anything Post Anatomy truly any use? I picked up Horror because of the cool cover, listened to it for a week and can't remember a single note from it.
Cryptic Shift - Overspace & Supertime
Due out the end of February

The first three Exhumed albums are cool. That artwork looks like a throwback to the early days, hopefully that's reflected in the music too.
New Immolation coming as well.
Sweet thought Acts of God was brilliant.

yea, I find them consistent. I love Horror and All Guts No Glory is ace. One would hope they play here at some stage. Not looking likely though
Maybe I'll give Horror another shot. First three were excellent, the artwork I recall being the best thing about Horror.
Think they were here before and got fuck all of a turnout?
Yeah Exhumed played here before. Class gig with the chainsaw going full whack in little oul Fred Zepplins :-*
Great news about Immolation, thanks for that.
Exhumed played in Dublin twice according to my old ticket stubs and I don't remember even going to either show. I don't ever remember seeing them live. I think one of the shows may have been cancelled and the other was in May of one year were a load gigs including Suffo and Incision were on within a few days / weeks of each other so most gigs had shit turn outs. Big European tour in April with Gruesome, Ireland skipped of course. That would have easily done well in somewhere like the Grand social or Whelans the London venue only has a capacity of 150.
The last album to the dead is great as is Death Revenge and All Guts, No Glory. The Gore Metal re-recording for me is one of the few good re-recordings.
Looking forward to the new Immolation but no doubt they will skip Ireland as well when touring it like they have for the last few years. When was the last time they were here? Must be 10 years or longer.
That Insision gig must hold record for worst turnout - I believe 9 people.
Last show was 2017 at Voodoo. Missed most of their shows here, despite them being one of my favourite DM bands. Only caught them with Malevolent in Eamon Dorans 2003.
Exhumed were supposed to play the Voodoo in January '05 or '06 but cancelled and Primordial replaced them. First time seeing them, great gig.

Never listened to them before but that's a cool tune albeit a bit disjointed. May work better in the context of the album.
New Immolation track is class, one of my favourite DM bands!

It's deadly alright, can't wait for the new album. Pissed off that there's no Irish date on the upcoming European tour. I haven't seen them live in years.
I think its 16 years since I last saw them live.( it was the time when the country was showed in).
I'll see them in July though; at Stonehenge festival in The Netherlands!
Yeah this is great. Really looking forward to it.

Wild that it was that long ago. Macabre and Napalm Death as well but Immolation band of the night without question.
New track is class. Last album, while being perfect in theory, did nothing for me. Must go back to it.
Yeah, I thought the same. Atonement was savage, that was a tough one to follow!
Very true on both fronts. Atonement is class. They have a fuckin incredible back catalogue. First 5 are stone cold classics and the rest vary between good and great. Atonement and Providence being the pick of the later stuff but must go back to Majesty and Decay cause I remember that being great as well.
Last saw Immo supporting Mayhem while touring Atonement. Still hoping for them to come here at some stage to play Limerick, Dublin and Belfast. I don't think they have played in Dolans yet?
Immolation played the song Immolation that night at the snow gig which was great. They also played Dublin in October 2012 co-headliner with Marduk that some here may have been at but forgot about.
Love the production on the new track.
Yep, was at the Marduk gig as well. There was a gig the night before as well as far as I remember but can't place what it was.
Dublin Doom Days was the 28th and 29th of September the Urfaust acoustic gig and then the main show that's probably what you are thinking of. Marduk / Immo was Oct 1st.
Ya, that's it.
As Exhumed were mentioned earlier, new single is up...

Now that is cool, nice change of pace

Ya, old school with a modern twist, perfectly put together.

New Monstrosity album out in March on Metal Blade. The new song isn't bad has a bit of an Abominations of Desolation sound to it. I know the Corpsegrinder years are the golden era of the band but a lot of the later material is pretty decent and well worth checking out.
Looking forward to that one, Monstrosity rule.
