Had to leave early as well as the young Lad and his buddies were kicked out at 6pm.
Would have loved to catch Domhain and Celtic Legacy. Hopefully another time.

Cutthroat were lethal again. Great stuff from these young lads.
Really enjoyed Foetal Juice as well. Been a good while since last seeing them.
Theigns & Thralls were a nice surprise. Wasn't quite sure what to expect but I enjoyed what I saw.
We Come In Pieces were excellent upstairs.

My young fella and his buddies loved every second.

Stopped going to the siege .

The clientele is getting increasingly "left" shall we say and by the looks of it the acts are as well .

I just fixed that since there was no other post in the thread

Got in later, around 6.30, but enjoyed everything I saw and it was great craic.  Sickened I missed WCIP, heard they had a particularly savage set.  Zhora were class, the bit of Mastiff I saw was great.  Was gone away after Coroza (savage) because even though I was sober I was bollixed from the go of it all.  Very very busy all day.  Absolutely savage to see.  Tons and tons of younger heads in, loads of the old/usual lads, everyone in great form.  Can't wait for October I will make a full run of it next time I imagine.

Ye were savage, set of the day for me anyway, the only one I saw every bit of too.  But I always love ye anyway so I am biased there

Curious as to what happened in between these posts that caused you to change your mind, especially seeing as your kids liked it so much.
And how can you tell if somebody is 'left'? And why would that even matter? I've been to about 13 Sieges and I don't think I've ever gotten into a conversation about politics. Nor would I want to.

Or are you just afraid of queers? 👀

That was my first time there (both attending & playing), thoroughly enjoyable and fantastic event with loads of great people. The sense of community and friendliness was unreal - just something you don't really seem to see in places like Belfast or Dublin.

Will definitely make the effort to get down again, even as just an attendee!
