Title: Clippers recommendations
Post by: M.Hopkins on November 23, 2025, 01:36:01 PM
Looking for decent clippers that don't snag. Have gone through a few Phillips and the Wahl etc in recent years and my latest is the Wahl Pro Elite which is supposed to have a much better motor and better able for it as it's corded but it's a piece of shit that snags and pulls. So looking for recommendations for cordless unit with an adjustable taper lever as I don't use any attachments to kept it tight to the dome. Barbershop quality without getting into serious cash. Surely should be doable for less than €200? Thanks in advance for any help

Wahl balding clippers is the only thing I've ever used that was any good for keeping it tight as possible. Anything cordless I've found a waste of time.

Kawhi Leonard, Chris Paul, Bradley Beale, and Bogdan are all solid, but I'd have to recommend James Harden really.

Go the whole hog. Bic Razors and some shaving foam. I've been wet shaving for the past few years and it's the job. I've only cut myself a couple of times- the first one being the worst but you get the feel for it pretty quickly and get fast at it. A mate of mine who was wet shaving his head told me once I start I would never go back. He wasn't wrong.

I grew the beard so I wouldn't have to be shaving every day so no chance I'll take on wet shaving my head instead. Have a couple of scars too that mightn't be great unleashed on an unsuspecting public. Clippers once a week is the job
